What is Shine Youth Festival?
Initiated in 2005, SHINE Youth Festival is a platform for youths between the age of 15 and 35 to indulge in their passion. The initiative celebrates youths’ creativity and dynamism and encourages them to use SHINE Youth Festival as the stage to demonstrate their energy and grow their skills and talents.

Organised by the National Youth Council, steered by a committee made up of representatives from youth organisations and executed by a Youth Organising Committee consisting of volunteers, the vibrant and colourful SHINE Youth Festival is held in the designated Youth Month in July. SHINE Youth Festival features an exciting line up of events and activities is presented by its 4 key marquee partners: Mascot Parade, O School, Singapore Street Festival and the Singapore Management University.

Thanks to Silver Ang (yes; STOMP blogger, actress, Project Superstar Finalist, & author of http://thatsilvergirl.blogspot.com), Fox International Channels & STAR Movies VIP Access, I WATCHED THE PREVIEW OF Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon in 3D YESTERDAY! :D

Photobucket
$0.00! DAMN AWESOME~

Photobucket
There was this huge ass Transformers 3D advertisement board outside the cinema :O
Of course must take a picture with it!

Photobucket
Ya lah I look retarded standing next to something so cool :(

Photobucket
The event was at The Cathay's Grand Cathay.
Man, that place is HUGE & grand! Like some concert place *.*

Photobucket
I really loved the interior design. Do you? :)

Photobucket
I felt so excited like a little kid when the curtains opened & the screen flashed this!

Photobucket
Went to watch the awesome movie with none other than my awesome tech geek dad!

Photobucket
My mum said that it's as if a uncle is bringing a little girl to go shopping =.=

Photobucket
My 3D glasses!
I have a love-hate relationship with them.

Love, because OMG THEY LOOK SO STYLISH, I FEEL LIKE BRINGING THEM BACK HOME! I wonder how the lenses were made to make that eye-popping effect! :D

Hate, because I wear spectacles! Dear all the people who wear glasses, don't you just hate holding on to the 3D glasses throughout the entire movie!? They slide down all the time! >:(

Photobucket
I look so cool right! RIGHT!?

Alright, I admit I look stupid wearing two glasses -.-

Photobucket
When the show ended, both my dad & I were dazed~ Best thing was, my super blur as I dad couldn't find where he parked his car!
While searching, we coincidentally bumped into the very pretty & well spoken Silver! *insert star struck expression here*

I felt like I embarrassed myself, because I couldn't control how I talk. I don't know how, but I think I spoke in really broken English & I sounded really weird :(

Photobucket
Love her dimples! It's unfair how people with dimples automatically look really good.

Photobucket
I saw this outside the movie theater.
As a curious little girl (more like #auntie), I went to check it out!

Photobucket
":O:O:O:O:O! BUMBLE BEE'S BATTLE MASK! THEY HAVE THE 3D THING THAT COMES TOGETHER WITH IT!"
Awww, I love Bumble Bee! It's so cute! Plus yellow's kinda like one of my favourite colours.

But too bad for me, I don't have money *oops!* #foreverbroke #spendthrift

Photobucket
"Wah what is this, blue blue one~"

Photobucket
Optimus Prime's Battle Mask!
It's such a nice & responsible transformer :) Helps that it's blue, my favourite colour!

Truthfully speaking, I've never watched a single Transformers movie before.. I mean, it's a boys kind of show about robots, what's so nice about that, why would I be interested? -.-

However, after the movie, IT CHANGED MY MINDSET! Well, I'm kind of a boyish-girl after all, so.
As someone who's more into comedy & romance films.. I've got to say, gosh, IT WAS REALLY AN AMAZING MOVIE! The effects were just mind blowing awesome. You HAVE to watch it in 3D to enjoy the movie to the maximum!
Actually, I'm kinda scared of all my machines & the sport cars I see now.. What if they transform into something!?

The male lead was cute, the female lead was really stunning, with a to-die-for-figure (damn it! Is she even human!?) I found her lips a tad too pouty though.. Ok, so seriously, WHAT IS THERE NOT TO WATCH!?

The only down part was that it gets too violent sometimes, so I don't really recommend little kids to watch it. & there were parts that were kind of draggy; but who cares, really.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is showing in all theaters from 29 June 2011.
I love receiving mails! Well, the good ones, of course.
With the improvements in technology, we no longer send snail mails anymore... Why do that when we can just send an e-mail through our mobile phones? *Hands up* Yeah, I do that.

That is why I treasure them even more when I receive them!

I've a confession to make! Actually I check my mailbox everyday to see if there're any letters for me.. It became kind of an obsession. However, the letters are always for my dad or my mum, rarely for me :(
Do you have this kind of weird symptom like me too? #weirdosUnite

I was really happy when I saw this~

Photobucket
"OMG A LETTER FOR ME! FINALLY, YESSSSSSSSSSS!"

"Wait.. What is it? Love letter? Threatening letter? BOMB!? Or I WON A MILLION DOLLARS!? :O"

Photobucket
No lah, I won a gift voucher from Sour Sally! Hahahaha, YAY :D

I remember taking part in a giveaway specially for Ngee Ann Poly students, on Sour Sally's Facebook page. I guess my entry is good but not that good.. Oh well, at least it's better than nothing!

Thank you Sour Sally and Ngee Ann Poly for this gift! Gonna indulge in my yummy yogurt soon, yumyum omnomnom!~
Being a NP student rocks \m/

Sour Sally is located at Wisma Atria Shopping Centre, #B1-47
How did you celebrate Fathers' Day? :)
For me, it's a family gathering at home, as usual.

What did you get for your dad?

Photobucket
My dad, looking cute! ^^

I traveled all the way to Thomson to get this 'durian well' cake from Dino (don't ask me, Google)! My dad loves them; my whole family are fans of durian!

Hope you guys enjoyed celebrating this special day for the breadwinner of the family!
Actually not really, because my dad is 'semi-retired' HAHAHAHA

Love my dad even more after having so many friends around me lose their dads... I can't imagine me without my dad, because I'm a daddy's girl :/
I hope they stay strong! Sharing the many love with all of you guys! <3 *big hug*

I love you papa! :D
Got to love Gardens!
There's so many good food here, be it crazy expensive or dirt cheap!
My parent's & I were looking for a place to have our brunch, so we settled for Bakerzin at the new MyVillage mall.

Photobucket

Photobucket
I love free flows of bread. So high class & angmoh-style! *act atas*

Photobucket
Dad's blueberry tart thing.
Was hoping for something to ooze out as I bite into the tart, but there was nothing. Quite a disappointment :(

Photobucket
Mum's I-don't-know-what-this-is.
Too cheesy in a way, so I found it kind of weird?

Ok I admit, I'm afraid that it's very fattening!

Photobucket
My mango soda!
I don't know why, I like soda's a lot. BUT THEY'RE FATTENING!
Every time I drink sodas, there's this voice inside of me that says to heck care because it's the taste of heaven~

Photobucket
My, erm.. Full set meal xD

Hey, don't judge! I can't finish the whole of it actually, KO-ed while eating halfway! I don't know why I keep having this mentality that I still have a humongous appetite like before. Maybe my puberty age is slowly saying byebye?

The curry is the Japanese type of curry; sweet & not spicy. That's what I like!
The soup tasted weird though. Not a fan of weird looking & weird tasting soups.
LOVE THE CAKE! Big fan of chocolate here *does the excited wave*

But it was too chocolatey so I didn't finish all of it. Super duper sinful! Oh hello, fats!

Photobucket
Banana split that we shared!
We got served the wrong flavours. The 2 white ones were lime; super duper sour!
So yeah, we changed it.

Photobucket
Mmmmm ^^ Finally got to eat! *rub hands together*
Vanilla, Chocolate, Black sesame. Got to love desserts! <3

The bill was quite.. Shocking, for a breakfast meal. But worth it for the ambiance.
Satisfaction? I'll give it a 8/10.
They have a bakery there where you can get cakes & breads btw, so do drop by & take a look if you have the chance!
Maybe you can look for me also, as I stay nearby :)

Bakerzin is located at MyVillage @ Serangoon Gardens, 01-27/28
