Check out my beauty buys & samples for July!

1) Cure Natural Aqua Gel sample from Watsons
No. 1 Best Selling in Japan, sold every 12 seconds. Cure is made of 90% revitalized hydrogen water and 10% moisturizing ingredients. A safe and gentle exfoliation gel that is suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin! Cure regularizes your skin turnover by gentle peeling, removing dead skin and necessary proteins, making your skin smoother, brighter and softer.

Little auntie me love going to Watsons, so I went to the different outlets & asked for samples hehehe.. I find it not bad, there are little white particles coming out when I scrub them on my face. My face feels very clean ^^
However, it is so mild, I wonder whether it really did exfoliate all the dirt out.

2) Maybelline Stiletto Mascara
Omg this is really like what its name says. My eyelashes were super looooong after I applied it! I even tried it on my arm hair (saw the tester & wanted to try it), and they were so looooong and dark @.@

3) Daiso Eyebrow Pencil
It has this weird colour, but it matches my hair colour. Well, for $2, you pay for what you get!

4) Maybelline HyperSharp Liner
Photobucket
New liquid eyeliner from Maybelline New York!
IT. IS. AMAZING! It has a super fine tip of 0.05mm. For a liquid eyeliner beginner, I'm absolutely adoring it. Drawing on my eyes became so much easier!
Also, it is recommended by Xiao-Kai Lao Shi on 女人我最大! (Y)

5) One Prime Day Benefit Primers - Sephora Exclusive
Photobucket
That Gal Primer;
I love the smell of it, and the colour is in pink! I love how smooth it is when being applied to my face.

The Porefessional Primer;
It is brownish in colour. It feels a little weird when being applied to my face as it's kind of dry. When applied together with That Gal, the effect was awesome! My pores were not so obvious when I put on foundation! :D

Stay Don't Stray Primer;
It comes with a brush applicator and is to be applied to the eyes to make eyeshadow stay. I've never used an eye primer before actually, so I can't really say anything. But my eyeshadow did stay longer than before!

6) The Face Shop Pore Minimizer Clay Face Mask
Photobucket
It has a very refreshing & cooling feeling when applied on my face. I like that. Smells really good too! Maybe it's because there are cucumbers in it. Used a few times, so far so good! It's one of my favourites :D

7) The Face Shop Hydrating Milk Face Mask
Photobucket

Photobucket
I don't like milk, so the smell turned me off at first. It has this... Chemical milk smell. It's supposed to hydrate & whiten my skin. My face did feel hydrated after using it, but not really for the whitening part.

8) Daiso Charcoal Face Mask
I lovelovelove this peel off mask! I can feel all my blackheads being pulled off together with the mask. Waited very long for Daiso to stock it as it went OOS for quite some time. Highly raved, for just $2. How awesome is that!?

9) Coffret D'or Blusher
Photobucket
Bought it for just $12 at the CozyCot Kanebo Season Markdown Sale!
Loving how it's of such a natural colour when applied on my cheeks.

10) Chacott Finishing Powder
Photobucket
Chacott finishing powder is originally made for stage performers as it can help to resist sweat and control oil. It is very popular in Japan and won many awards.
For those who have read Popteen Magazine, you will know that almost all their models uses this loose powder and it was said that every model owns 1 tub of this powder.

Photobucket
I think words can't describe my love for this loose powder!!!
I bought the 170g one online. Put some of it into one of the smaller loose powder containers I have at home, so that I can bring it around conveniently. It's very difficult to find this in Singapore. Some sellers even sold it at a very high price online!

It is very fine and smooth. & IT DOES NOT MAKE MY FACE VERY CAKEY OMG!
I was previously using M.A.C's pressed blot powder, but it didn't work out on my face. But this, is a miracle. My skin feels so light, unlike the heavy feeling my other finishing powder gave me. Also, it controls oil so much better! For it's reasonable price in such a huge tub, I must say, SUPER WORTH IT!!! (Y)

11) Estee Lauder Hydrationist sample
Maximum moisture creme that provides instant and lasting moisture. It is one of the latest products from Estee Lauder. So nice of the SA to give me samples to try out! I can feel like my face is not as dry as before~

12) Estee Lauder Idealist Illuminator sample
It is a even skin tone serum. Latest product from Estee Lauder also! My face feels so much smoother, radiant & softer. Have only used it for 2 days, so I have not seen any very obvious skin tone effects yet. My blemishes did fade a little though!

Went down to town today for lessons! :D
Did a Social Psychology experiment actually, as part of my Social Psych IS module.

Before that, I had a mini photo shoot at my house garden! Some of the pictures turned out pretty well. Will share it after I edit them!

Photobucket
Anyway, I was at Plaza Sing when I saw this! (Y)

Photobucket
For my group's experiment, I'm supposed to 'act' as a student to carry out the experiment, so I wore my Secondary School skirt. I miss wearing my school uniform so much! I don't know why, but I just feel so comfortable in them.

I always go back home tired from school, lying on the couch & sleeping with them on. I know, very dirty, but they're like a part of me after wearing it for 4 years.

Photobucket
Was walking around this walkway path place near Plaza Singapura and Orchard Central, when we saw this!

Photobucket
So cute ^^

Photobucket
Groupmate and classmate, Chiu Hui!

Photobucket
It's my turn! Me, Jia Hui!

Photobucket
Last but not least, BIRTHDAY GIRL! :D Hui Hui~
Hehehe all the HUIs!

In case you're wondering, the other members of my group were 'acting' as office ladies.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Went to Far East Plaza after everything ended.

Photobucket
I love Chippy's Fish & Chips! <3
Seems like it's the Month of Japan here in Singapore!
Remember my post about the Summer Hokkaido Food Fair at Tampines Mall? (Click here.)

Photobucket
Well, was shopping around Takashimaya Shopping Centre with the mum, when we chanced upon another Japanese food fair happening at the basement.

Photobucket
There were lots of yummy food there, but we only got these really yummy cream puffs as we were really full from our lunch! :(

Strawberry syrup on the left, Matcha one on the right.

Photobucket
The cream was really, really fresh! Oh well, it's expected. Food from Japan are always sooo yummy. Om nom nom~

I never felt a tinge of guiltiness when I ate it. Normally I will when I eat creamy stuff, because normal creams have that tastes that makes it feel.. Fattening.

Photobucket

That's all. Stay tuned to this page! :)
Puma and Youth.sg held an event at Ngee Ann Polytechnic this afternoon in search of Singapore's fastest runner!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Students were to put on the latest Faas shoes to feel the lightness of the shoes, then run on this mini track with it!

Photobucket
There was a electronic timer to keep track of all the participant's timings.
Fastest that I saw was 2.10 seconds! :O

Photobucket
The people who took part were mostly guys. I only saw 1 girl who tried it out!
YOU GO GIRL! GIRL POWER!

So, you might be wondering.... What is this Faas thing about?

Photobucket

It's a light weight shoe that'll make you run so much faster! Seems interesting, doesn't it?
Time to start exercising!

Photobucket
Very overdued post!
Went to Hatched with my parents for the 2nd time to have our breakfast. Beautiful place with nice food! ^^
( Read my first visit to Hatched here.)

Photobucket
Yeah, that was when I still had my previous hair colour. Pardon my stupid looking face. I look horrible T_T
That's my dad btw. Doncha wish your daddy was cute like mine? :)

Photobucket
Mummy!
YES, I DON'T HAVE HER DOUBLE EYELIDS GENES :( Actually I do, on my left eye. But it's not so obvious.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Food there was good, as usual.

Photobucket
Headed to Raffles City Shopping Mall for High Tea after that with the mum.

Food tasted alright, nothing fantastic.

You hungry yet? :)
Remember my post on McDonald's 1-for-1 special? (Click here)

Well yeah, I went down to McDonald's on the first day of the promotion to try out their yummilicious looking Chocolate Melts!

Photobucket
I was practically salivating when I saw them!

Photobucket
First impression: looks normal. Is that... Mini bread and just chocolate!?

Photobucket
Gonna om nom nom it now!

My say:

Don't expect too much from it. I find that the taste is very general, and it's something that you can do by yourself. There is nothing special about it.
The chocolate was quite diluted, too much sugar was added. The sweetness of the chocolate was covered by the excessive sugar.
The bread tasted just like a normal dough.

I'll give it a rating of 3.5/10. Overall, it's kind of pricey at $2.80, no? Luckily there was the 1-for-1 promotion.
I had mine at the *SCAPE outlet, so maybe the other stores will differ in taste? You can give it a try if you need something to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings though!
Photobucket
Thanks to O School, I've got the chance to attend Asia's annual most awaited hip hop dance convention - The Big Groove 2011!
The theme this year was 'Year of the Heros'.

Photobucket
Asked Shu Qing along! :)

Photobucket

Photobucket
The event was held at the Suntec Convention Hall. Spotted a lot of familiar faces there!

Photobucket
The first time I took the picture, the people on the right are not looking at the camera.
The second time I took, the people on the left are not looking at the camera. =.=

Photobucket
Me iz under VIP worx ^^

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
There were sales of merchandises of the different dance crews! I'm very 'poor' recently, so didn't get myself anything :(

Photobucket
Met the pretty twins Jayley and Hayley there! All of us were under the 'special guests' section. They were seated like, 2-3 seats away from us? :D

Photobucket
& LET THE CONCERT BEGIN! *Drum rolls*

Photobucket
Everyone was so high, I was practically shouting & screaming my way through the concert!

Photobucket
The end!

It was an unforgettable night. They made me want to dance again. But this time, it's hip hop dance.
It was really nice to see dancers from all over the world come together. I had a whirl of a time! Can't wait for next year's! :)
