Hey guys! So sorry for the long, overdued post.

I attended the Maybelline's Hypercouture Fashion Show quite a while ago, together with Pei Shi!

Photobucket
It was held at the club Soul at Odeo Towers.

Photobucket
There was a super longggggggggggggggggggggggggg queue that day. We queued for really long, probably almost 30 minutes?

Photobucket
There was a make up & hair booth there that day. I was really excited when I read about it before the event, because I was hoping that the professionals can do something about my hair, and touch up my really horrendous make up.

Photobucket
Peishi & I doing our hair!

We were really disappointed with the results though.. The curls made us look sooooooooooooooo much older :(

Photobucket
The crowd there that day. VIPs are on top!

It would be really nice if the management held the event at a bigger place, because there were a lot of squeezing going on EVERYWHERE. Crowd control was really horrible.

This is the emcee for the day.

And let the runway show begin! Featured labels: missypixie, modparade, ohsofickle, Pearlavish and smooch.
I hope you pick up some fashion tips! :)

There was a short interval in between, where we had a mini dance performance.
I'm not sure whether they're gay, or they really know how to dance like a girl....

Fashion show resumes, let's go!

There was a mini make up tutorial on how to line your eyes with the Hypersharp liner. I own the liquid eyeliner myself (it's amazing btw) & have learnt some valuable drawing tips!

We were serenaded with Billionaire in duet version while the girls were strutting down the runway.

This pretty girl sang really well :)

And soon, it came to the end of the show.
What I learnt: it's all about colours, colours, colours!

Was trying to get out of the place, but EVERYONE was trying to get out. People were trying to get their goodie bags and printed pictures, so it caused another massive jam. Waited for probably 15 minutes -.-

Photobucket
Headed to the Black & White room instead, where there was a mini flea market of the featured labels going on.

Photobucket
Met the beautiful Tammy again ^^
Damn, I pale in comparison so badly when standing next to her!

The goodie bag that I got.

Thank you for the lovely gifts, Maybelline & featured labels! :D

Photobucket
Massive jam at the photo + goodie bag collection counter. Everyone was trying to get the person in charge to search & print their photos :/

Our picture, found!

Overall, I think that Maybelline should have put into consideration a 'Plan B' traffic control.
I mean, hello, it's Maybelline!? It's a brand everybody knows of & love, so there will sure be a lot of people turning up for the event.
There was a huge mess up with the queues at the beginning and end of the show. I was really confused with the VIP, non-VIP, ice cream, hair & make up queues. I probably spent half of my time there just queuing for stuff.

The show was alright though! Pretty clothes, shoes and make up ; I like!
However, I kind of wish that there were lesser professional photographers around. They kept shoving their huge bags with equipment's towards my face + blocking everybody's view.

Anyhow, thank you to the Maybelline team and the sponsors for putting in the effort to make this fashion show possible! :D
