Some people express themselves through drawing, through music. As for me, I express myself through fashion, through what I am wearing.

Having an eye for fashion is something I *ahem* shamelessly admit that I am good at *ahem*, because it's something that I enjoy very much! ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ_彡☆

So you might ask: "everyone has a story to tell, what is yours?"

Photobucket
My story began when I was really young. I was one of those typical tomboy girls you see around; I hate wearing dresses and skirts, and I do all sorts of manly stuff that you couldn't imagine! (>_<)○------(^o^)○

What intrigued me to change so much?

When I was in Primary School (gosh, I sound so old....), things changed. I matured earlier than others. That explains all the pimple and scar 'plantation' on my face. So, for almost 2 years, I got laughed at all the time. I felt really ugly, but there was nothing I could do about it. Being a girl, I will look into the mirror and wonder everyday: "Why do I look like this? Why am I never pretty like the other girls in school?"
I remember someone telling me "there are no ugly women in the world, only lazy ones", which I found so true. So I thought, since I didn't have a pretty face, why can't I be pretty in what I wear?

Lucky for me, my mum works in the fashion industry where image is really important. That was why growing up, I learnt some styling tips and tricks as a 'basic foundation'. Also, I painstakingly saved up for the monthly issue of fashion magazines just to see how fashion stylists styled the models (and also read about celebrity gossips :X).
As I grew older , I started to have my own sense of style. People started commenting on how the clothes I wore looked really nice, and I felt really good about myself. O(≧∇≦)O

So why do I like dressing up? Because it is one of those few things that makes me feel confident in myself. (And also to prove that being fashionable does not mean wearing revealing clothes for pervertic men to ogle at.)

Photobucket
To me, dressing up is also a form of respect to the person or event, and also to myself. Knowing how to accessorize is a plus point as well, because something so simple can bring out the effort you put into your overall look. Everyone knows the most important part of a girl's outfit is the accessories!

Frankly speaking, I wasn't much of a accessories girl before, much less a watch girl. What's the use of having a watch when I already have a handphone to keep track of the time, right?

Wrong.

I can't place my handphone on my wrist, but a watch can. My handphone cannot get into the water, but a watch can. When I go for PE lessons and I want to keep track of the time left to recess, I can't use my handphone during lesson, but I CAN USE MY WATCH! \(^ ^)/

Photobucket
A watch is something everyone must own. It not only helps you to keep track of time, but also matches with practically EVERYTHING you wear!

Don't believe me?
Here are the different types of style you'll see me in. Throw in a watch and imagine that it's on my wrist; you'll see the *poof* magic! *adds in imaginary sparkles*

Photobucket
I call this the high-class style meant for formal nights. Match it with a metallic/leather watch and you're good to go!

Photobucket
This is the casual style. Get a casual-looking watch to spice up your lazy days (which I'm sure is most of the time)!

Photobucket
This is the cute style. Get a watch of loud and vibrant colours for a more Jappy look!

Photobucket
This is the cool style. What more can I say? Get a cool-looking watch, duh!

Photobucket
If you're the nerdy student whose life only revolves around school (but you're not the usual tshirt-shorts-slippers kinda person), then this school style would be great. All of your watches will confirm go well with it!

Photobucket
Get the work watch if you're a workaholic like me during the school vacation, since you'll be in uniform all the time!

So how? I am right, aren't I? ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ_彡☆バンバン!

Talking about watches, here are a few from Baby G that you might consider getting for your different looks. What are your top 3 choices? ( ̄~ ̄;)ウーン・・・

Photobucket
For me:
[1] F. You've got to admit that black is the easiest colour to match with. Also, I love the colourful details on the dial of the watch! I am very random, so this would be great.

[2] G. I've never had a red watch before, so I'd love to try something new! This loud colour will definitely spice up my outfit.

[3] B. Blue is my favourite colour; do I need to explain further?

Do we have the same choices?
So..... What is your style?  Have you found yours yet?(^_-)☆
