Guess what, I got the chance to visit PRO Academy with some bloggers recently! ヽ(;▽;)ノ So, you might be thinking: "What is Pro Academy about?"

Established in late 2010, PRO Academy was born through synchronous events that led a team of inspiring professionals to come together with a common vision and that vision was to establish a world-class academy where knowledge and skills are imparted to those who aspire to become professionals in various beauty, aesthetics and wellness disciplines.

In short, if you want to learn how to be more beautiful like a PRO, then head down to PRO Academy now (pun intended)!

Thankfully for us, we had someone to tour us around when we were there!

This was how their Manicure Area looked like. Very professional and atas-looking, very spacious.

Photobucket
This is how their Massage Room looked like. It's very hygienic, so no worries about that!

Photobucket
This is their Wash Area for hair!

Photobucket
They had tons of stuff there that you can buy, from make up all the way to essential oils.

Photobucket
I was too engrossed in taking photos that I didn't notice about the huge SALE sign (T^T) #auntieinthemaking

First up! We headed into the Theory Room for our 'Scents of Beauty' workshop by pro wellness trainer Cedric Chow.

He explained to us what is aromatherapy about. Also, he was really patient in answering our questions, and yes, he indeed is a pro!

Photobucket
We got to learn about the different essential oils and their uses. Because the essential oils there are of *ahem* Top Grade Quality *ahem*, every drop is worth $20 you know! Pour ALL the essential oils!

I was quite surprised that some essential oils didn't smell like what I thought it smelled like. For example, I've always liked the smell of lavender, but the smell of the pure lavender was so different! w(°o°)w

Oh yeah, and a tip to all newly wed couples: Ylang Ylang is a good choice for treating feelings of sexual inadequacy *ahem*. It can influence relationships and sexual energy, which is why the people in the Philippines have it on their beds during their wedding night. Don't say I never share!

Photobucket
We also learnt about the different Aromatherapy Skincare Products, and what are the different skin types. For myself, I belong to combination skin!

To end off our session with Mr Chow, we D.I.Y-ed our own Facial Serum Oils. HOW EXCITINGGGGG! ( ^∇^)

Photobucket
Look at how many type of different essential oils there are here! Mr Chow got one whole big BOX of them!

Photobucket
We were given these little bottles filled with 10ml of Sweet Almond Oil.

Photobucket
Then, we were to find the different essential oils and drip it into the bottle. As my skin belonged to combination skin, my formula required me to add another 2 drops of Lime Oil, 2 drops of Geranium Oil, 1 drop of Ylang Ylang Oil, on top of the 10ml of Sweet Almond Oil!

I've been using this facial serum oil since then, and I've got to say that I really love the smell! So far the effects aren't that obvious for me yet, but I did feel that my skin was much more moisturized!

Photobucket
While waiting for the essential oils to be passed around, I took a picture with Qian Hui (。・ω・。)ノ♡

Photobucket
And... It was break time! Check out the fooooooooooooooood om nom nom~

I love the cream puff most! *eats ALL the cream puff*

Photobucket
The food was *in Dora the Explorer voice* DELICIOSO! *wipes away saliva dripping down from mouth*

Photobucket
Next up, we headed to the Make Up Room for the 'Makeup Styles & Trends' workshop!

Photobucket
I've always wanted such a glamorous and professional makeup box like that! It makes me feel like some superstar *flicks hair*

Photobucket
We were taught the Spring 2012 makeup techniques and styles by Cheryl Ow, the pro makeup trainer there. This is very sidetrack, but her features are so nice! Big eyes, sharp nose, nice jaw, small face & stuff *.*

Photobucket
We got the chance to try out the makeup Ms Ow taught us by ourselves, so I took off one side of my eye make up that I already did at home. Please look at the eye with make up kthxbai.

I must say, I've really learnt quite a lot (because I'm a super noob at makeup stuff ╥﹏╥). My favourite part was definitely the eye shadow techniques. I confess, I totally don't know how to put on eye shadow AT ALL. Really, I used to anyhow bomb, that's why I rarely apply it on my eyelids otherwise I'll look like someone Jigglypuff drew on #truestory.

Now that I've got more confidence in beautifying my eyes with eye shadow, you look forward to me with nice eye shadows okie~ *winkwink* (∩_∩)
