Will be having a impromptu flea tomorrow from 12noon - 7pm with Ying Zi (Idreamtobreakaway.com) at Lucky Plaza Flea Party by forfleasake! It is located at Level 6, opposite Jollibee.

I have more than 2 luggages worth of clothes to sell, gosh... Items range from brand new to pre-loved clothes, K-pop albums, accessories, toys, etc. I'll be selling everything you can find at http://www.iisjong.com/p/shop.html and http://carousell.co/iisjong!

Of course, there's soooooooo much more than that. Many I couldn't bear to sell coz they're brand new but don't fit me :( Prices will be reduced, of course! Let me know if you're a reader, definitely give big discounts for you! Also tell me if something caught your eye, I'll be glad to reserve the item for you.

It's very easy to recognize me - I'll be wearing my Rilakkuma mouth mask and probably hold on to a Jay Chou fan.

Alright, see ya tomorrow, woohoo! \(@ ̄∇ ̄@)/
Went down to ComfortDelGro Driving Centre yesterday with Allison. It is located at 205 Ubi Ave 4 Singapore 408805. We didn't know where else we could sign up ;/

Just like most youths our age, we wanted to get ourselves something that would transform our lives - a driving license.

Both of us kinda procrastinated until now ever since we turned 18 (legal age requirement)! Since both of us had nothing on, we made an impromptu trip down to Ubi to sign up.

The reason I'm doing this blog post is not only to document my journey, but also to let it serve as a guide to those who are equally clueless. Both Allison and I are blur klutz, we had no idea where to go and what to do when we were there!

After exploring around, we went to the Admin Service Centre on the 1st floor as we initially planned on taking private lessons.

We bombarded the staff with so many questions! Remember to prepare your own set so that you can have your doubts cleared. Thankfully, the one who served us was informative and patient.

In the end, both of us opted to learn through the school in preparation for our BTT. Although it was pricier, the test date was so much nearer as compared to the private one. We were also given the BTT & FTT books! e-Trial tests in their classrooms and e-learning materials at the comfort of our homes (only 15 hours though, remember to log out!) were also provided.

In order to attain a driver's license, we first had to take the Basic Theory Test (BTT). Pass that, take the Final Theory Test (FTT). When we're done with all that theory, we'll then take the Practical Driving Course before going for the Practical Driving Test.

Before we made payment, we were guided to the Customer Service Centre to do an eye test with this machine. People who are wearing glasses like yours truly, there's no need to take them off!

Inside you'll see colours and alphabets. All you have to do is to tell the staff what you've observed.

Every student will have their own CDC identification card made on the spot.

Don't be surprised if the staff serving you suddenly raises this little camera to your face! It is to capture a photo of you for the ID card. No need for passport-size photo yet, just bring along your IC/passport!

Le driving booklet. I'm ready!

Actually I'm pretty worried about taking the BTT! I know it's the most basic and straightforward, but I don't know what to expect. My test date is set on September 26, I have 1 month to prepare from now. I just hope my goldfish memory won't fail on me that day!

If you need more information, you can check on forums and visit the CDC website here: http://www.cdc.com.sg/

"Shoes are boring. Wear Sneakers."

I love the tagline of Converse's new global campaign! All of us have owned something from Converse for sure. There's a reason why the world loves the brand - it shouts cool, rebellious, mischievous and creative. You're bound to make a statement wherever you go!

I myself am a huge fan because every collection never fails to amaze. Their famous sneakers especially; they're versatile in every colour and pattern, and easy to match with any outfit be it something casual or punk rock. In fact, I know of many who customize their own. There's this individualism vibe that varies from person to person when they're in their sneakers that differs them from shoes.

Thanks to the kind peeps at Converse, I got to pick out some awesome items for my Outfit of The Day! EVERYTHING'S from Converse, I love each of the item that I picked. You should totally check them out! Here's how I got loud with Converse:

Lovin' my new sneakers to bits. So attention grabbing yet comfortable to wear!

Shoes or sneakers lover? You decide. I'm on #TeamSneakers for sure!

After months of intense competition, last night was the grand finale of Singapore's TV reality-singing competition The Final 1! To be honest, I only caught a few episodes of the show as my favourites got eliminated in the early stages of the competition. Nevertheless, I was still excited because I did catch the episodes from Top 3 onwards!

It was a tough decision between the Top 2, Farisha and Shaun for me. One sang superb and the other had the entire package. In the end, I went to The Star Theatre at The Star Vista rooting for #TEAMSHAUN!

Votes were based entirely on audiences. So nerve-wrecking!

The theater looked jaw-dropping magnificent by the way. Being able to perform here certainly is a huge privilege and honour!

There were TV all around the place broadcasting the show on Channel 5!

Contestants looking good for the opening performance!

Shaun's supporters dressed in red.

Taufik Batisah gave a good performance. This guy absolutely can sing, no doubt about that! And damn, it's been 9 years since Singapore Idol!? Time, y u pass so fast!

Screamed my lungs out when surprise guest performer Rui En appeared during the song "Sky's The Limit"! She's good looking, act well, can sing... My favourite artiste in Singapore, definitely!

Behind-the-screen madness! There was another host in charge of the audiences.

One of the highlight of the night - Jody Williams from South African Idol got the entire crowd roaring in cheers as she wowed us with her rendition of "Listen". Awesome performance is an understatement. You go girl!

Another climax of the night when special guest singer, Grammy nominated international artiste, Natasha Bedingfield went up on stage! I adore her outfit so much!

She sang "These Words" and got the crowd going crazy with "Unwritten", the song we are all familiar with. *flips hair like a Pantene commercial*

The moment everyone's been waiting for - the results.

The grand prize winner was no other than 18-year-old Farisha! Heart sank a little when Shaun's lights went red, but was happy for Farisha because she deserved the title for sure!

Farisha singing "Tonight" for the closing performance!

I have to admit that when this competition first started, I was skeptical about it as all of us assumed that "Singaporeans can't sing". For those who still have this mindset, I advice you to re-watch the competition again! It was an eye-opener for me, I saw how talented this bunch of individuals were. I'm sure there are many other such people of there we're unaware of.

Who says Singaporeans are talentless? Support all local talents out there, so many of them! I dare say some are much better than many international singers out there. Once again, a big congratulations to Farisha! That's quite an achievement for someone so young/ I'm waiting for your album! ;) *winks*

Went back to CLEO Hair & Make to find RYO for a change in hairstyle!

Ryo taking a stretch; it took around 5 hours for my hair to be done (╥_╥)

Base of my hair was ashy brown-grey colour. Nope, not done yet!

I was fine with Ryo doing anything to my hair, so I told him to surprise me. He had numerous crazy, creative ideas!

Jiang jiang! Blue and pink streaks on the side of my hair with styling curls. Playful yet safe for school!

The colour hair dye used for the streaks were from a New York brand called Manic Panic. I saw the range of colours, and crazy is probably an understatement. It supposedly lasts longer on the hair than most brands out there!

With the lovely Ryo, (half) Ai and Joanne! \(@ ̄∇ ̄@)/

Went back to do a hair treatment a few weeks after, and look at my gorgeous shiny hair! I promise there were no hair straightening involved. Even my friends asked what I did because my hair was in a pretty bad state due to all the rush in assignment deadlines prior to the treatment. It obviously got a new "life"!

No idea where to go for your next hairdo? Why not visit CLEO! You can read my blog posts on them here: http://www.iisjong.com/search/label/CLEO%20Hair%20and%20Make
