Casual Sunday outfit for a food tasting at Bear Bites Singapore today! I randomly picked something from my wardrobe, and so coincidentally Rilakkuma fitted into the 'bear' theme. Talk about accidental coincidence!

I've been receiving compliments for my beautiful hair colour wherever I go, and to be honest, I feel stressed! Don't get me wrong, I love it to bits! But I feel pressurized to look good all the time, I've been having trouble matching outfits...

Oh well. If this is a challenge, then Challenge Accepted!

After I did EC as mentioned in my previous post, I rarely put on makeup, so that aided in my skin's recovery after every treatment. The texture of my skin improved tremendously!

After the consultation with Dr David Ng, I was recommended to do a combination of 2 lasers to target the scars and marks on my face! There is no one laser that does it all, the DRx Clinic uses different lasers with multiple and different modalities to provide a complete range of laser treatments.

Some kind of gel was put on my face before the treatment started. The entire process was painless and fast, Dr David used this tool and glided through my face. Because of the emitting bright light, everyone's eyes had to be protected.

Here's a close up. As you can see, there are many scars left from the EC treatments I did previously. There was no downtime for this treatment, which I love!

Short video of how the process went.

And here's my skin a few weeks after the treatment!

Here's a comparison picture!

As you can see, scars and marks lightened by soooooo much. I predict that if I did not do the lasers, it'd probably take me months or even years to achieve similar results. Skin is much clearer now! I swear I did not photoshop the scars and marks away!

I must add that my skin tone has become much more even too!

But it does not stop there. Because my oily, acne skin is unpredictable that ANYTHING disastrous can suddenly happen, taking good care and doing proper maintenance is extremely important! I learnt that the hard way - the pimples and clogged pores came back after my trips to Bali and Yangon :(

Adding to my usual DRx skincare routine, is the Blemish Formula (BF). BF is an all-natural formulation to control and reduce the occurrence of blemishes and break-outs without any adverse side-effects. It controls the production of excessive sebum and helps to soothe irritated skin.

I apply this only on my problem areas. This light brown cream has a gel-like texture with a faint characteristic botanical fragrance that leaves a slightly sticky after-feel.

Hoodie Limited Edition, Giordano's Disney Collection | Tube Dress (Worn as skirt) Bugis Street | Fake Collar Necklace Platinum Mall Bangkok | Bag MCM

Been quite a while since I last posted my OOTD! I wore my hoodie over my tube dress.

I visited my hairstylist Ryo from CLEO Hair and Make (https://www.facebook.com/cleohair.sg) yesterday, so that explains my new hair colour. It's an unusual yet refreshing change, so pretty that I want to flip my hair all day!

More about that in another post!
The Istana Tampak Siring, otherwise known as Holy Spring Water Temple, is a mystic place to be at. It is a Hindu Temple located in a valley between two hills with big springs and sacred by the local residents as a place to melt all the bad influences in the body and purifies the soul and mind.

This was my favourite temple throughout my trip in Bali, an attraction that should not be missed!

Like most temples, we were required to pay an entrance fee and wrap on a sarong before we were allowed to step in.

Upon entering, I saw this legendary pond that is said to have magical healing powers. The water that comes out from the shower is believed to eliminate all kind of diseases including adverse effect in the human life and give the new holy spirits.

I was told that locals have brought the natural spring water to do various kind of tests! Well guess what, it was found to be VIRUS-FREE! That's pretty amazing!

Even though I did not have the chance to taste the water, I could feel how refreshing it was just by having it run through my fingers. Not kidding at all!

It was quite a peaceful experience to have people from different religions enter the sacred pool to do their devotions and receive the blessings. If only I had the opportunity to take a shower in this pond. What a pity! I will be back next time with extra clothes to change!

The temple was pretty big; I could've easily spent a day touring around!

So coincidentally on the day I went, the temple was not only flooded with tourists, but teeming with locals as well! I witnessed the traditional religious rituals they were having. The Balinese people were all smiles and open to us tourists, I got to play with some of the kids too. Though crowded, but I wasn't complaining!

The thing I like most about Bali would be how the decor are very ornate and interesting!

I enjoyed my trip here thoroughly! My entire experience was enlightening. Wish I had more time!

Have you tried being your own hero? I remember back when I was on holiday in Myanmar, I offered my food to someone who was starving. I believe that it's better to give food rather than money, because money corrupts people. Furthermore, what can that little bit of money buy? I do hope that filled his tummy!

If you wish to see more of the kind deeds others did, you can search for the hashtag #redbullheroes on Twitter. You can tweet your own heroic act too, I'd love to read it!

3 best ‘Good Deed’ tweets with the hashtag '#RedBullHeroes' will walk away with $150 cash and Red Bull hamper.

Anyway, Singapore! You have nominated YOUR heroes for the Red Bull ‘Real Singapore Heroes’ Campaign. Now that entries are closed, it's time to do some voting!

I have been voting all along since voting opened! One of my vote went to the video titled 'My Everyday Hero'.

Singapore is a clean and green city that we take pride in. Other than us Singaporeans being used to throwing our litter into the dustbin, we owe much of our country's cleanliness to these people who pick up our rubbish. It is a job Singaporeans are unwilling to do, but foreign workers depend on it for survival. They have to bear with the stench on a daily basis when most of us would stay away as far as we could, pinching our noses as we do. What do they get from it? The lingering smell of rubbish and nasty stares.

After watching this video, I started going up to thank these unappreciated Singapore Heroes whenever I see them. And I hope that it inspires you too like what it did to me.

Remember that voting for the nomincated heroes close on 31 October 2013! Don't be lazy, your vote matters and it's just a few clicks away. Visit http://www.realsgheroes.com and VOTE NOW!
The Taman Ayun Temple is a Royal Temple of Mengwi Empire. It is surrounded by a big fish pond, making it look like it floats on water! You have to pay an entrance fee to enter this UNESCO recognized site of cultural heritage.

From what I know, its Balinese name Pura Taman Ayun literally means ‘Garden Temple in the Water’. This temple was built and used by the Mengwi Royal Family. Surprisingly, the area is still well-maintained although it was first built in the 17th Century!

The main place of worship is surrounded by a garden. There were rarely crowds when I was there, making it a tranquil place that's great for a walk.

You can find many impressive pavilions and multi-tiered Meru shrines at the main place of worship. However, entrance is not allowed into the main complex. You'll only be able to see it outside from a low wall. What most people do is walk around the complex.

The different Merus are believed to be the abode of several different gods.

While it was a rather spiritual experience, there was nothing much to do there except to admire the modern Balinese temple architecture. I suggest dropping by only if it's on the way, since the sightseeing lasted for only a short duration.

The secret to beautiful hair is your hairstylist. I am thankful that Ryo shared the same thoughts as I did in regards to hair favourites! We tend to be overly-excited to experiment with hair that is out of the norm.

That's the good thing about Japanese hair salons - I find the hairstylists more daring to take the great leap and fulfill what's in their imagination. Furthermore, they're good at it. Singapore wise, they tend to be too "safe" sometimes, don't you think? For the past 20 years of my life, I had boring, coloured hair that resembled probably half of the Singaporean population. That's what I got when I requested for "something different"...

Anyway! Using Manic Panic hair colour dye, we continued using blue and pink colours, but quantity was higher. They were separated on different sides of my hair!

Hidden on the inside was a gorgeous shade of turquoise blue. On the other, was fluffy cotton pink! I had to resist the urge of chewing on my hair because it looked yummilious!

Just kidding. ;P

Woop woop! How it looks like when they come together.

The Halloween Horror Nights has always been known to be one of the most thrilling attraction every Halloween Season. If I had to choose only 1 place to go to, I'd definitely go for HHN3 without thinking!

I mean, it's at freaking Universal Studios Singapore! That's THE most fun place to be at. Plus, I'll get to take the rides too!? That's like killing 2 birds in 1 stone.

A little bird told me that the haunted houses at HHN3 will be much scarier than previous years! With the increase in scare factor, you'll be guaranteed to have a frightening good time!

From what I know, there are 3 new haunted houses, 3 scare zones and 10 nights of extended hours (7pm - 1am). Selected rides and attractions will even be open all night!

Truth to be told, I have never been to Halloween Horror Nights before because I am a scaredy cat. If you share a similar experience with me or you're curious about what to expect, head down to Cineleisure!

There is a roadshow going on there, you'll get to experience a miniature version of the haunted house. Prep yourself for the scare fest by taking a FREE tour inside! I guarantee there are no actors in there, just props!

There's even a photo-taking area for memorable keepsakes.

Good news to all students! Open-dated tickets are available to students at only $50. All you have to do is present your Student Card at the roadshow to enjoy this exclusive offer!

What are you waiting for? Get your tickets now before they sell out! I will be going this Saturday O(≧∇≦)O Feeling nervous, yet all gamed up for it! Wish me luck x
